Terms of service
The conditions we charter under, from booking to the day itself.
These terms govern charters operated by Ashiya Limousine Service. Making a booking means you accept them.
1. Making a booking
Book through this website, by phone or on LINE. The booking exists once we have confirmed it to you. We may decline a request when no car or chauffeur is free.
2. Fares and payment
Fares include tax. A 30% deposit confirms the date; the balance is due by the day of service. Pay by card, bank transfer, or cash on the day.
Weekend, night (from 20:00) and peak-date surcharges apply where relevant, and are itemised in your quote.
3. Changes and cancellation
Date changes are possible subject to availability — from your reservations page or by phone. Cancellation charges:

A change that amounts to a cancellation — where no replacement date is agreed — may be charged as one.
4. On board
- Drinks and light food are welcome. Strong-smelling food and fast food are not.
- The cabin is non-smoking throughout, e-cigarettes included.
- We do not serve alcohol to anyone under 20.
- Please stay seated while the car is moving. Leaning out of the vehicle is not permitted.
- We cannot exceed the seating capacity of the car.
Soiling or damage to the interior is charged at the actual cost of cleaning or repair, and where the car cannot then be chartered, for that loss as well. We quote the amount before charging it.
5. Delays and force majeure
Traffic, weather and road closures can move timings. A late start on your side counts against the charter time; extending beyond it is charged at the extension rate.
Where a charter becomes impossible through causes outside our control, we refund everything paid. Our liability does not extend beyond that.
6. Our responsibility
We carry motor and liability insurance. Where loss is caused by our fault, we compensate up to the value of the charter. We are not liable for items you bring aboard, short of our own gross negligence.
7. Photography
Photographs taken by our chauffeurs are used in our own promotion only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Japanese law. Disputes go to the Kobe District Court as the court of first instance.
